The top of the bus

Got to sit at the front on the top of the bus today. What a treat. Watching the morning commute in action. Through slightly steamy windows.

Late afternoon streets

Always got my camera on me these days. And our local neighbourhood is reliably interesting. A mate said recently she’s going to sneakily follow me round; she can’t believe the things like the cat on the dashboard are real. Today the London bus stop was quiet, a guy was scaling the wall of Waitrose, and the sky was spectacular.

The London bus stop

The London bus stop, Headington. A regular gathering space for all sorts of people. Today this man who looked straight out of an old black and white British film.

Local streets

Mmm. Returned to snapping closer to home. Our neighbourhood on the edge of Oxford. This is one quirky neighbourhood. Not like trendy quirky. But real quirky. In the best sense of the word. Peculiar and unexpected.

Saturday morning in the ‘burbs

Had a walk about with Rich this morning. Dull old suburbia had its quirky pants on as you can see; a car cat, old cameras, posh fish fire and a pink hat and boots.

Walking to work the long way

These photos are from a day when I decided to walk the long way to work, taking my (old) camera.  It was sunny when I set off but as I walked down the hill, it became mistier and mistier. It got to the point where passing people were partial and incidental. And it became all about the trees.

Funny because I’m more a people than a tree sorta gal.
